Terms of Service

By installing or using Inbox Cleaner for Gmail, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

1. The service

Inbox Cleaner for Gmail is a Chrome extension that helps users review Gmail messages and move user-selected messages to Trash. Classification labels are suggestions produced by deterministic local rules; they are not guarantees that a message is unwanted.

2. Your responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing selections before confirming a Trash action. The Extension does not automatically delete or trash messages. You must use the Extension only with accounts you are authorized to access and in compliance with applicable law and Google’s terms.

3. Google account access

The Extension requires Google OAuth authorization and Gmail API access to function. You may revoke this access at any time. Google services, Gmail availability, quotas, and Trash retention are controlled by Google and may change independently of the Extension.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Extension, attempt to bypass security controls, interfere with Gmail or Google APIs, use the Extension to access another person’s account without permission, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits.

5. Availability and changes

The Extension may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Features may temporarily fail because of browser changes, Gmail API limits, account restrictions, or service outages. Reasonable efforts will be made to maintain compatibility and communicate material data-practice changes.

6. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Extension is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free classification, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of the Extension. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Intellectual property

The Extension’s original code, design, name, and logo are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Gmail, Google Chrome, and Google are trademarks of Google LLC. Inbox Cleaner for Gmail is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Google LLC.

9. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how the Extension accesses and uses information and is incorporated into these Terms.
